    Level 1 Coaching

    Junior Coaching

    Junior Coaching starts on Wednesday 29 April 2009 and then continues through the season each Monday and Wednesday evenings.

    Kwik cricket will take place between 5pm and 6pm and hardball cricket between 6pm and 8pm.

    Aberdeenshire Sweep the Boards

    At the 2008 Lloyds TSB Scotland SNCL awards, Aberdeenshire received the Magners Club of the Year Award in addition to the flag as Division 1 winners. Ken McCurdie also recieved the Groundsman of the Year, in recognition of his efforts in connection with the staging of One-Day Internationals at Mannofield for the first time.

    Senior outdoor nets

    Senior outdoor nets will be held every Tuesday and Thursday between 6pm and 8pm.

    Todd Astle

    Aberdeenshire would like to welcome Todd Astle as Aberdeenshire Professional for the 2009 season. Todd is a RH opening batsman, RH leg break bowler and Level 2 coach.

    Todd is an ex New Zealand under 19 opening batsman, who won the NZ cricket players association young player of the year title in 2006. He attended the NZ Cricket Academy in 05/06. Todd has played in the Canterbury 1st XI since 05/06 and has regularly opened the batting and been their first choice leg spinner. He has previous UK experience with Highfield CC in Liverpool during 2007, where he scored 681 runs and took 45 wickets.
