Aberdeenshire Professional 2010
Aberdeenshire welcome Michael Parlane an experienced right-hand opening batsman for Northern District in New Zealand to
the club as our overseas professional for the 2010 season. Michael's career began with Northern District after 10 years he
moved to Wellington where he played 5 seasons captained the side before returning to Northern Districts he has scored a career
total of 11,500 runs @ 30 with 20 100's and 58 50's and a highest score of 203.
Working towards his NZ level 3 coaching certificate, Michael will be involved with the clubs junior development program in
addition to his work with the senior squad.
Junior AGM
The Junior AGM will be held in the Bradman suite at 6pm on Wednesday 14th April 2010.
If you are under 18 and wish to play cricket or learn to play cricket, please come along, join us and meet the coaches.

Aberdeenshire Win Lloyds TSB Awards
At the 2009 Lloyds TSB Scotland SNCL awards, Aberdeenshire were acclaimed as the senior club of the year for the second successive season, following their league-and-cup double - in addition to their second team, the Mannofield XI, winning the Strathmore and Perthshire Union. Neil MacRae won the all-rounder award in recognition of his coaching of the Aberdeenshire team, as well as his own on-field performances.

Aberdeenshire Sweep the Boards
At the 2008 Lloyds TSB Scotland SNCL awards, Aberdeenshire received the Magners Club of the Year Award
in addition to the flag as Division 1 winners. Ken McCurdie also recieved the Groundsman of the Year,
in recognition of his efforts in connection with the staging of One-Day Internationals at Mannofield
for the first time.
