Aberdeenshire are pleased to announce that Harsha Cooray will return as the 1st Xl Professional for the 2013. Despite the wet 2012 season restricting opportunities Harsha showed his potential with 269 runs @ 33.62 with 3 50s and 15 wickets @ 28.93.

Daya Singh joins Aberdeenshire from Sydney as Overseas Amateur

Daya a NSW U17 representative and a member of the Sydney Sixers training squad is a young quick bowler from Sydney's western suburbs. He bowls with genuine pace, in excess of 130km/h on a regular basis, and is a true outswing bowler. Despite his young age, Daya has established himself as a genuine new ball bowler in Sydney 1st Grade and took an amazing 7-19 on debut in 1st Grade at the age of 17.
